Whale Rider

Lately in my creative writing class, we just finished watching the movie "Whale Rider". This movie is about a little girl named pai, and she goes through a lot. Her being a surviver from her mothers wound. She was supposed to have a brother, that brother was supposed to be the leader of her tribe. He did not survive and pai"s grandfather "pucker"  did not approve of that. He later grew faun of her and loved her. Her father later came and began an argument with pucker, he told his son "take her". There forth pucker became very sexist towards her not letting her sit in the front row, not letting her watch the boy's practice, treating her as if she had no rights. Until he pt his boys to the test and none succeeded. Pai's uncle gave her the same test and she succeeded. She also called to the gods, and a bunch of whales came to the shore. One pasted away until pai climbed on top of it, bringing it life again. That is when pucker realized she was the real leader of the tribe. And that was "The Whale Rider".
